The common ground: PLA, printed to order
Whichever version you pick, the piece is printed in PLA in our French workshop, on demand, after your order. The difference is all about colour: built into the print, or left in your hands.
Full-colour (AMS): ready to display
Full-colour printing combines several filaments of different colours during the print, thanks to a multi-filament system (AMS). The colours are in the material itself — not a paint that can chip — and the piece is ready to display on arrival. The safe choice for a gift.
Monochrome: freedom
The monochrome version prints in the colour of your choice: match it to your interior, or use it as a painting base for a creative project. It is also on some of these pieces that engraving is available.
What about resin, seen elsewhere?
Resin printing, used by other makers, relies on a different technology (photopolymerisation). It excels at very fine detail, but generally produces pieces that are more brittle, UV-sensitive and chemically post-processed. Our PLA filament pieces favour sturdiness and stability for everyday display.
How to choose in practice
