How our 3D figurines are made: materials, finishes and lead times

Every TSI 3D piece is printed on demand in our French workshop: nothing is produced before your order. Here is, step by step, how your figurine takes shape.

Made to order, no stock

Unlike mass production, we hold no stock: your order is what triggers production. Every figurine is printed specially for you, which lets us offer a wide catalogue with no waste.

It is also what makes customisation possible: on monochrome pieces the print colour is your choice, and selected products can be engraved.

The material: PLA

Our pieces are printed in PLA, a plastic derived from corn starch and the reference material of filament 3D printing. Rigid, precise and available in a wide range of colours, it is ideal for display pieces.

PLA does dislike prolonged heat: avoid a car interior in summer or the top of a radiator.

Full-colour (AMS) or paintable monochrome

Our figurines come in two families. Full-colour printing, done with a multi-filament system (AMS), combines several colours during the print: the piece arrives already coloured, ready to display. Monochrome printing, in a single colour of your choice, is perfect as-is for decor — or as a painting base for creatives.

Sizes and finishes

Depending on the product, several sizes are available — up to life-scale for some iconic pieces — and the finish can be Normal or Matte. The exact options are listed on each product page.

Lead times and dispatch

The estimated production time is shown before payment, so you know what to expect. Once printed, the piece ships within 1 to 3 business days, across France and Europe, with tracking sent by e-mail. Everything about shipping
